             This post is a little out of the ordinary, but I hope you find the information helpful!  When I set my sights on a new goal at the beginning of the year (or at any other time) one of my first thoughts might be, “But when will I have the time to do this?”  Will this goal feel exciting and empowering as I work towards it, or does it feel like yet another line item on my to-do list?  What I really need to do, before I add more items, is take some stuff OFF my plate and go through my days efficiently.  I want to spend less time on “have tos” and more time on “want tos.” 

 Here is a list of helpful suggestions, web sites, and apps that can trim the time you spend on “have tos” and create more time for “want tos”…

 Groceries/Household:

 Kids/Family:

  1. KidsKutzMD.com – use this service to avoid the ER wait and go straight to a doctor when your child has wound that needs stitches (this is for non-emergencies only)
  2. Cozi – web based, shareable family calendar and organizer; imports recipes and creates shopping lists
  3. Nozbe – task and project manager for busy people and busy famil

Home:

  1. Amazon Echo/Alexa
  2. IFTTT.com – use this concierge service to get more function from the apps and services you love
  3. HomeRoutine App – household maintenance scheduling

Self Care:

  1. Headspace App: Guided Meditation and Mindfulness
  2. Moment App/Moment Family:  Track and set limits for phone and screen use
  3. Audible app – Don’t have time to read?  Listen while you drive! 

Dining/Entertainment:

  1. Ubereatz – quick food delivery with no minimum
  2. Uber ride sharing – split the cost of an uber with a group, pay a low fee  and avoid the hassle of driving and cost of parking, and enjoy chatting on your way
