Emotional Transformation Therapy

This is a powerful model of therapy which was developed in the 1990's by Steven R. Vazquez, PhD. This is a cutting edge approach to psychotherapy. This approach uses colors, peripherial eye movements, as well as specific technique in how each client attaches to themselves, others, and the issues with which they are confronted.

Katrena has been level 3 trained and has been using this method under supervision over the past year. She has found it to be much quicker and more effective than EMDR with her clients.

There are 4 specific modalities that can be used depending on the issue being confronted in therapy:

  • Goggles
  • Color Wands
  • Color Chart
  • Light Box

This method has shown effective on issues such as:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Phobias
  • PTSD
  • Sexual Abuse
  • Trauma
  • Chronic Pain Symptoms
  • and many more challenging theraputic issues...

There are also specific treatments for using the method with:

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
  • Borderline Personality Disorder
  • Boundary Issues
  • Fibromyalgia
